GFO clumping I have personally never had any issue with BRS GFO clumping I use the high capacity stuff and regenerate it after use. GFO is supposed to be rinsed at least once a week in the reactor by turning the inlet valve to it highest setting for just a couple of secounds to rinse the GFO...

I used a piece of acrylic and sectioned of the section with no rocks after getting the fish on that side. No problem after that.

The high capacity GFO seemed to last about two weeks longer before having to change it in my setup

BRS high capacity GFO has always worked very well for me, I run it in a two little fishies 150 reactor without issue. Kalkwasser is not a phosphate media

how does that happen, is thier any cure

I have had this clam for a little over a year it has always fully opened and for the last two days it has looked like this. Any advice would be appreciated I'm getting a little worried.

Every time I change out my socks my Skimmer goes crazy for about ten minutes and makes a lot of micro bubbles then goes away. Does anyone know how to prevent this.
