How new is your tank? Done any recent water changes? Could be cyano or a diatom bloom possibly.

I have picked up ick from a new addition and am about to begin treatment in QT. Do i need to relocate my urchin, emerald crabs or snails to the qt for hypo or will they not carry the parasite? TIA MB

Hey - hope the tank is workin out for ya!!! Far as barnacles.... I bet it would take some time to get them to regrow... though they may make some decent cover for now... Take it easy... Michael

Thanks - when i purchased the tank it was in there - it was HUGE but sadly it broke into a few pieces during transport...:( Its still doing great and even them smaller frags are bright and bold colored. He is long gone. It took COMPLETELY tearing my tank apart to get him, but none the less -...

water parameters? what other tank mates does he have? How big is your tank? need more info to be any help...
