Hi everyone,
Today, I had one of "those" ideas and I wanted to pass it along to the experts to see what you have to say.
I live in Denver CO, and the humidity is extremely low throughout the year (avg <45%). I have a 65G freshwater tank in my living room for 4 years and it was always...

Hi everyone,
I have a 65G tank with a base of eco-complete topped with Fluval stratum. A month ago I got some amazon swords and melon swords and they are doing well. I see new growth constantly, and the PH is around 7 or 7.2. I have Co2 injection which is exactly what plants are looking...

Welcome to the beautiful and complex world of planted aquariums. I sincerely mean it and I don't want to discourage you. Look for "aquascaping" or "planted tanks" in youtube and you'll see some beautiful stuff. I've been trying to do it for the past 2 years, and it's been an interesting...
This post is a bit old, but here is my $0.02. Amazon swords are pretty good. I also suggest Anacharis and Italian Vals (not jungle vals). Both plants are very easy to grow with no fertilizers required. In fact, stay away from fertilizers. They also grow very fast. Having the right...
I can't vouch for a 30" deep tank, but I have a Fluval Plant LED light, which is very nice and very configurable. It has an internal timer and it's bluetooth enabled. If this doesn't help, then flood lights maybe your only option.
