    Reef Pic!

    Favorite Fish?

    Without a doubt my favorite fish is the mandarin fish! It is such a beautiful fish and I call it the "hummingbird" of the reef. You need a large well established reef tank or a refugium to supply bugs to keep this fish from starving. JMO Johnny:)

    Eels can knock over corals that are not well secured in their moving about the tank although I did not witness that in my 80 reef tank. Johnny:)

    tank size for a longnose hawkfish?

    Longnosed hawkfish are an awesome fish! I love their markings and unfortunately they will eat inverts like crabs, snails, etc. They love to perch on a high ledge and dive down on their victims! I had one in my 80 gallon reef tank and kept it well fed which reduced the chances of him hunting...

    Snowflake Eels

    Hi! I had a snowflake eel for quite awhile and they are so cool! Since you have him eating now I would turn him loose in the tank and let the eel find a cave for his home and this will help in not stressing the eel! It is really neat to watch them stick their head and part of their body out...

    new to hexagon aquariums...any suggestions on fish

    I pretty much agree with what was said in the other post! You could probably put in a pair of fire fish or a pair of bangaii cardinals as they do not move alot but look really cool! JMO Johnny:)
