    Water Movement

Not to mention that: higher water circulation = less accumulation of waste + less settlement of microalgae and cyano. (water circulation good!)

    -=please help=-

Hi, This may sound a bit radical, but I saved a goldfish full of fungus with saltwater. It seems that the fungus are less resistant to salt than the fish. I only recommend this if the fish has a really bad case of fungus, but you can put him in saltwater for 5 to 10 minutes and it may help...

    Lighting schedule

... I think I'll just leave it as it is (everyone seems happy with it anyway). Thanks!

    Lighting schedule

Hello, I have a 45g tank with 3 PC tubes, one is (I think) a regular actinics, that has a soft purple tone, one is a regular white, and the other one is bright blue (they came with the setup). Does anyone use something like this? Can someone advise me for a lighting schedule? At first I was...

    Filtration discussion

Hi guys! My (salt water) aquarium has 200 litres (around 45 Gal) and I have a biological filter open to the water and a mechanical one connected to the bottom board. The shop owner that sold it to me and helped me assemble it says that he has good results with the bottom filtration and that it...

(Only) Sometimes living in Portugal really sucks!

Hi guys! New member from Portugal here! The problem about living in Europe's ass is that stuff take a lot more time to get here. We still don't have online shops in this area and only a (very) few physical shops specialized in salt water. It's great that I found this forum, because even with...
