I moved it into a different tank in case it was some illness and it seemed to be getting better! I followed a fish vets advise and gave it a pea Incase it was swim bladder problems but it was uninterested in any food and this morning it was dead! He was very skinny but bloated where it's neck...
We have a figure 8 puffer ph/nitrates all fine! Temp is perfect, but he seemed really sad and now he's "dead" he's head Seems to heavy for his body and it's almost like he has no strength!
Hmmm ok. I will look into getting another tank for them and sorting out a brackish set up, thank you for your advise (the shop had them in fresh water and said that they would be fine, I also googled it and got roughly the same answers, but I will take what you said into advisement) they def...
Had them 3 days, tank is 60g, there's 2 tiger barbs, 2 red tail sharks, the puffers (2), a med Plecoptera, a tiny Plecoptera and 2 coloured tetras.

Hi, she still hasn't dropped! Slightly worried! It's been nearly 3weeks since I last posted and god knows how far she was when we got her!!

Blue widow is a coloured widow, the puffers are fine in freshwater they just live longer in brackish! 5/7 years fresh water and 10+ brackish. But thanks for your concern xx
Hi, we have 2 fresh water puffers (figure 8 and a spotted)
Our blue widow (normally quite) has non stopped attacking them! There fins and tail are looking tatty! We put some shrimp in (which they all loved except the puffers) I don't want to get rid of the puffers but my widow is not playing...
Our 2 gourami are being very aggressive to all fish in the tank and have now attacked and pretty much killed our Molly (she couldn't swim away due to a broken fin) she is still 'alive' tail thrashing and good fin moves but she keeps floating upside down or completely sinking to the bottom! Also...
We have ordered a nest box which is due to be delivered tomorrow! Do I just catch her and her mate and put them in there till she has them?! I don't really want to separate them as there really close. I will keep you in mind for rehoming of she has one that looks like her!
