Safe-t-sorb Yes, I would like to try this out as a substrate, possibly capped with eco complete. I’ve heard that it lasts years and has a gravel like look. I’ve also heard that it can be “charged” with fertilizers and is great with planted tanks

I’m new to aquarium forums and I’m setting up a55 gallon freshwater planted tank. I’m interested in using saf-t-sorb due to cost and look. Does anybody have experience with this product? I’ve heard that cleaning and charging to neutralize water column impacts can be difficult.
