I own one Aqueon 16 gallon tank with community tropical fish. However, I am a believer of over filtration so that I can overstock my aquarium. I currently use three filters which includes a powerhead plus biofilter with media; a Marineland HOB filled with biofilter media plus Seachem Purigen; and a Fluval U1 filter. I use a Fluval heater, and have a combination of fake and real plants. I do so because I can't find medium sized real plants that look great in my aquarium. However, my smaller plants are real and I use anacharis as a nitrate sponge and floats on top.
I also have 3 cory cats, 4 neons, two black skirt tetras, three tiger barbs, four Dalmatian mollies, three mickey platties, three stripped danios, three cherry tetras, two siamese algae eaters and one betta.
