fish dropping like flies, and I cant tell why (may have ich)

I do have a bottle of zooplankton substitute. I guess I will try to put that in the tank on a daily basis. I really dont want to loose that fish as it is my favorite fish.... I have had him for 2 weeks, and he has been doing great, his size is staying the same, so I am hoping that there is...

I dont see anything on either of my damsels. I know i can put them into a hospital tank, but i have been reading that...

fish dropping like flies, and I cant tell why (may have ich)

Ok, I have a 55 gal fowlr, and inverts. The tank has been established for over a year, and has had most of the fish for quite a long time. About a month ago, I added a few fish, and inverts. Over the coarse of the last month and a half, I have added 1 sand sifting star (which is alive to the...

    is my tank over populated?

I completely understand the difference. My tang is pretty much in the smallest tank possible, and because my tank is a 4 foot long tank, he is ok, but I want to get a bigger tank to put the larger breed fish. I would rather have more than enough room for my fish than just barely enough. Only...

    is my tank over populated?

Thats why i am thinking of getting rid of the angel because it is going to get too big. I am hoping to start a second tank, so I might just transfer him to the new tank which should be a 180 gallon. I want to put larger fish in the larger tank.... I am thinking that I will be ok by removing...

sand sifting goby normal eating pattern?

I added a 3 inch sand sifting goby 3 days ago, and up until yesterday, I had not noticed the goby was doing much with the substrate. I came home lastnight, and noticed that almost the entire substrate had been disturbed. I mean all of it except for a small area. Last night, I watched the...

    fuge question

I already have 60 lbs of live rock in my display tank. I am trying to add more pods to the tank, and to promote pod growth in my fuge, and I plan on adding about another 10 to 15 lbs of live rock to the fuge, and a 4 inch live sand bed. This fuge is not going to be the only source of pods...

    Buying Capepods

Thats the point. You want the pods to be pumped into the main tank. The pods are the main source of food for the mandarin goby. I am currently setting up the same set-up for my fish. I am building a fuge tonight and getting it set up....
