what is a sump? i plan on using an eheim canister filter i will evetually add live rock to the tank but not right away anyway i guess a "sump" has to do with some kind of filtration- can someone elaborate on this please?

says its good up to 100 gallons just wanted to know what u guys thought of it as far as quality goes id like to stay under 100$ for a skimmer i have a 90 gallon tia let me know if u have any other suggestions as far as my price range goes thanks

dude the same thing happened to me it says tropical playsand and the sku that someone else put on this board matched but im not sure because someone elsa said that the sku matched at a hd in texas but it wasnt the right stuff WHO KNOWS im not comfortable that "most likely" it is correct someone...

before anything else add sand so im told one person said to use some plastis over the sand and pour water on top the plastic will obviously rise but this will minimize clouding

im doing a fo with lr no live rock at first but later on prolly i got a filter in the meantime anyway i need a ro filter what one should i get i have a 90 gallon i canjust clip the ro hose on the tank and let it fill right? of course while mixing the salt in the tank right?

i would think so but if there is already water in the tank than it would cloud up prolly

i can use play sand to save money and use the minimum amount of live sand RIGHT? now, if i need 298 ilbs of sand according to the sand calculator how much of that should be live sand we are talkin about a 90 gallon tank thanks and i kinda feel bad asking all these ? and not being able to give...

im planning on doing fish with decorative rock with the possibility of live rock later on a dsb with a base of home depot sand and live sand as well, should i arrange the hd sand and decorative rock before adding ro water and mixing the salt?and than when the tank is almost full add the live...

i guess i need teflon spray paint- right anyone know how many coats and the best way to approach this i havent added anything to the tank yet just wanna make sure i dont get any on the inside what do u think black paint or a cool blue color? tia

im gonna do deep sand bed in my 90 gallon at first it will be decorative rock and then maybe ill get some live rock anyway what sand can i get from home depot? how much? should i put the home depot sand under my live sand? TIA oh yeah how much does the home depot sand cost?
