Hello, I am decorating my first aquarium and I need some driftwood that would look nice in a 29gal (30"x12"x18").

Wow that looks great. I think I'm going to try just one or two anubias with my current lighting just to see how it does. If it looks like it's not doing well then I will probably go with your fix.
