I am looking for the piece that gets attached to a 1/8 inch hose (with is the water input on my new RO/DI filter) to make it able to screw onto a standard water hose fitting.
I have the water hose coupling on my kitchen faucet. I want to attach my RO/DI there and make water then remove it when...
If you hve not already purchased this set up, reconsider carefully. It is beautiful but that seems to me to be it's most appealing quality.
I am running it on my 55 gal. and I have had several overflows onto the floor. I've only had the system up a few months and my AquaLifter pump has failed...
Not sure I understand the question... What are you connecting to? I used pvc cement to connect my 1" bulkhead to 1" pvc pipe. If you are using flexible hose instead of pipe, I guess you will need a hose barb.
I get source water at the local grocery.. I guess it is RO. It is filtered water dispensed from a machine but I am about to switch to a 6 stage RO/DI here at home (as soon as the equipement gets here.) I'm switching for convenience.
I use Oceanic Salt Mix and a bit of buffer every 2 or 3 weeks...
Wow- now I'm worried! What I can see of his foot looks fine. (He hasn't moved more than and millimeter or two since originally finding his place the day he wen in the tank)
Lighting is 2x 65 watt 10k and 2x 65 watt Actinic 3 - I have tthe actinic on for 12 hours and white light coming on for 10...
The pest was down on the branch - away from the fleshy part of the coral. He was not very big so I was able to limit the amount of JJ needed and he withered away without incedent. Thanks fo the tips!
He does live with fish. And I haven't ever fed the anenome until doing what I said above - He's been in the tank a few weeks now and seems to have found his place. He's under a rock ledge. He expands polyps/tenticles more at night than in the day-light. But whenever he is out, his tenticles are...
What ever it is stays visible and attached for while (but that doesn't mean it isn't waste). I put some shrimp in the water nearby him after taking this picture to see if he reacted at all and he didn't.
You're probably right. But if he has waste, at least that means he's eating! Thats good news.
I have aptasia on a trumpet coral and ordinarily I would use JJ but I'm afraid to put it so close to a coral I don't want to hurt. What should I do to get rid of the pest?
Fluff, I'll send you mine! I have a feeling I'll have more than enough to decorate my little tank!.. But this stuff doesn't seem to have bubbles, it is growing in sheets. What appears as bubbles in the camera are more like ruffles where the sheet has folded back on itself and become pleated...
