    Zero SPS growth?!

I have the same problem, LFS guy told me that the Cyano issue I had may have actually killed the coral by robbing it of light which it needs to grow. Not sure how bad your Cyano got but it was heartbreaking news to me.

    Best Wrasse for 30 Gallon

Yea but are they as active as the 6 line? I really like the coloration of the 6-line. I'm thinking of getting one really small, maybe it won't be as aggressive towards my other fish

    Best Wrasse for 30 Gallon

I have been stuck on this subject for awhile now. It will be the last fish in and I picked a wrasse because of how active they are. I was stuck on the 6-line but after reading stories I am worried it may be a little too aggressive for my other fish. Currently have 2 Clowns and a yellow watchman.

    Star Fish?

Haha thanks guys, should I relocate him to the tank or will my watchman, clouns, and banded coral shrimp eat him?

    Star Fish?

Can anyone identify? Sorry the picture is a little fuzzy. This is on the rim of my refuge in the back of my 29g Biocube. Looks like some sort of banded starfish. I recently added the fuge and got some chatoe from a local guy. Wondering if he came with it.

    Algae Help....Please Identify

Yea thats what I was afraid of. I do run a skimmer with filter floss, chemi-pure elite, and chaeto in the refugium. I havnt fed my fish in a couple days just in case. But to answer your question, no I don't run carbon. I figured the chemi-pure would be enough. Is there a quick fix. I do weekly...

    Algae Help....Please Identify

This algae started showing up over the past couple weeks, Im thinking its the early stages of cyano. It started as a bright green algae and has turned to a dark reddish color with air bubbles. LFS tested water and everything seems to be fine.

    Massive bristleworm

I had a problem with bristle worms and just cut back my feeding and they disappeared. There's a big one that I see occasionally but they are harmless to any living fish or coral.

    Yellow Watchman not looking good

Yea the watchman decided to use the corner of the tank as his home. Decided not to use the live rock. He actually dug a hole and hangs out in it. I hope he eventually ventures into the livestock and finds the shrimp

    Yellow Watchman not looking good

I bought a yellow watchman goby yesterday with a pistol shrimp and dripped both for about 45 minutes. After putting the watchman in the tank he hangs out in the front corner of the tank away from the rocks and hasn't moved except to let my hermit crabs walk by. Did I do something wrong or is he...

    Coral Banded Shrimp

So my tank is coming along nicely and I have just began to make a few additions. I have a 29 gal biocube and have noticed a large number of bristle worms when my blues are on. I was thinking about getting a Coral Banded Shrimp to thin them out but I am worried that my tank may be to small. I...

    Light Schedule

It's a coral and fish tank. I have a 1 blue damsel in the tank to make sure he stays healthy with my current setup. Working on my cuc though, I have a large amount of bristle worms and a small bubble algae problem I plan on taking care of this weekend. I keep my heater at 80 but it only keeps...
