    Help finding medicine :(

I'm not the biggest fan of PetSmart, but they have Maracyn Plus for fifteen (or so) bucks including shipping.

agree or disagre with my stocking choices

Cardinals are great. They're a little more colourful than neons, but they're also a little bit bigger, so you'd have to reduce the numbers. Adding in the diamonds, I'd say 5 corys, ten diamonds, and 25 - 30 cardinals. Again, that's probably more than your standard LFS is going to stock, but it'd...

agree or disagre with my stocking choices

I'm sorry, I meant one school of neons (just green or just regular), but keeping the diamonds and rummynoses. Anyway, if you wanted nothing but the corys and a school of neons, depending on filtration, you could get... a lot of neons. In 55 gallons, I'd say probably 50 to 60 neons. I don't know...

    Neon tetra questions

Those are not neon tetras. I'm honestly not entirely sure what they are, but they are not neons. You may want to edit your title to attract more attention.

agree or disagre with my stocking choices

Regular and Green Neons are about a 50/50 chance of schooling together. Since you have a little bit of extra room, you could just bump up and get eight or so of each, but I think you'd be happier with one solid school. It's more dramatic to see all of one type swirling around the tank together...

    Getting My Sea Legs

Family of fish. What I meant is that "loach" doesn't indicate a single particular fish, but a group of species. Kuhli loaches are a far cry from clown loaches.

    Getting My Sea Legs

Well, first, loaches are a family of fish, and you'd need to know what type you're getting. Same with corys. Second, the angels would be highly territorial. The gouramis would also be territorial while mating, and both would want the surface of the tank almost exclusively. I understand the...

    Cool plecos.

Do you want plecos for sure, or just algae eating fish?

    Dream Fish...

 The idea of a catfish living in a dog is kind of gross. Angels will definitely learn to come up for food and petting. My personal "dream" (more like "current obsession for my next tank") fish is a black ghost knife fish, and all reports are that they learn to respond to humans.

    Sinking veggies

Grew up in Dale City, VA Live in Portland, OR  Northern Virginia is more of a cichlid tank, and I'm a crusty bottom-dweller needing a community environment.

    Aquascape ideas...need help!

I second both of these, if you're going the live plant route, but it looked like it was all artificial in the pic.

    Sinking veggies

In a bigger grocery store, it should be near the foil, cling wrap, and whatnot. If not there, Sur la Table (Pentagon Row ;) ) would have it. Might as well get some food grade twine while you're at it.

    Aquascape ideas...need help!

Honestly, I'd say adding a background would be the biggest aesthetic bonus you cold give that tank. Just having a solid colour for those rocks and shells to pop against would be a huge help.

    Sinking veggies

I recommended cheesecloth because it's generally sturdier and would give you more uses than the medical gauze.
