there's about 20-25lbs of live rock. didnt' know if it had anything to do with the red hair algae appearing. but it has come and gone a couple times with adjusting light times. i currently have a timer for the lights and i'm trying to find the middle avg of about 9 hours a day

everything has come out as i've found them...tank from day 1 has been set up for 7 months. I also have a blenny in there that's doing great...water changes are about once every 2 weeks (5 gal change). both live rock, sand and biologicals in the fluval 304. i do have some red and green hair...
