The tank and stand is a Fluval Roma 240. I have a Roma 200. Great tanks and the stands are nice, but expensive.

    Most expensive fish.

It's the normal price you'd pay for an angelfish here.

    My 3.5 gal betta nano

I'm not making judgements, it is solid fact CAE's need a large tank and are aggressive. As someone else said, we only want what's best for the fish. That's why aquariumadvice exists. Calm down, there's no need to be so abrasive. Oh, and your 55g is beautiful!

    The fish tank at school...

...is gross. It is 20 gallons and has two koi and a red shiner in it. Everything is coated in brown algae and the tank is never cleaned. It's vile and cruel. I've approached science teachers about it but they don't care. I don't know what to do..

Barebottom tank - do the fish care if there is no substrate ??

Bare bottom tanks are not astaetically pleasing however are much easier to clean and the fish dont really care unless they are shy, quiet fish.

    Stocking a friend's tank..

Hi I'm helping a friend set up and stock his 15 gallon tank. He has owned fish before however has limited knowledge. He would like small shoaling fish which are hardy and easy to keep. I was thinking; 6x Harlequin Rasbora 6x Glowlight Tetra Swimming amongst assorted Cryptocorynes. It's a...
