    Cycling question

    Odd that you saw zero nitrite. I'd dose it up again to ~4ppm, test ammonia to confirm and then check to see that it's zero ammonia the next day ... then you're sure you've cycled.

    Jelly blobs floating around

    So I've got these little blobs of a jelly-like substance floating around my aquarium. They're a bit bigger than pea-sized and seem to hang on to my HOB filter inlet. A web search suggests they might be uneaten food (or a result of uneaten food) but I'm not so sure Any other ideas ? 55g...
