That much crushed coral dust floating around in a freshwater tank all of a sudden would cause a rapid and substantial rise in the water's ph wouldn't it? Maybe that's what did the damage?

They're looking good. We just had our first batch here too. I think they'll be three weeks old tomorrow.

That will work. I have a 55 with 3 fantail goldfish, 3 mollies, and 5 cories running a AC 70 and a sponge filter. I think two AC 50s would work very well also.

With fish you will have a certain amount that are deformed. Spinal abnormalities are not uncommon.

She is being acclimated to a freshly cleaned 5 gal "hospital" with airstones. After conditioning the water I put 5 drops of Quick cure in it. It is not cycled. I'll do two or three 4 gallon changes a day and medicate the new water.
