- I just recently started my first saltwater aquarium. I am planning on a FOWLR setup. I currently have 20lb of Fuji LR, and 60lb of base rock. For filtration, I currently have an Aqueon QuietFlow 55/75 HOB. Also installed is a MarineLand Maxi-Jet 900 powerhead, and a Fluval E 300watt heater. I have 80lb of CaribSea Live sand. For salt, I have been using the Petco brand. The tank has been running a little over a month. I recently added to damsels.
