I have a bunch of snails that loot like this, most of them are very small but one is pretty big that’s in the picture, any idea what type they are? I know it’s a bad picture but they all have the cone shells if that helps.
So I have 8 rummy nose tetras and they’ve been in my 20G long for about a month now. I had to deal with ich but I cured it with heat and have since lowered the temperature back down. 7 of them are still schooling and look healthy but one has a weird green spot on its head and sits alone under...
So I have a 20G long planted tank with 8 Rummy Nose Tetras, 6 Otocinclus, and 2 Amano Shrimp. My question is, do I have room for more fish, and if so what are some suggestions of good fish to add to this tank? Thanks for any responses!
I got 8 rummy nose tetras for my 20G tank on Tuesday and I haven’t seen them eat since I got them. I read that they may be stressed for a few days but I feel like it’s been a little longer than that would be. They all have good color and seem fine, schooling together back and forth but I’d like...
Yes I plan on doing that huge water change the day before, just waiting on these nitrites to drop off, I was adding 4ppm ammonia but now I’m adding around 2ppm every day because I want the nitrites to go down. Nitrates aren’t quite off the charts but they are on the high end

I’ve been doing a fishless cycle and my nitrites have been off the charts for a couple days now. I was reading that having too high nitrites can stall the cycle so I did a 50% water change but it was still off the charts. Should I leave it or keep trying to get it lower? I do have nitrates as well.
