- Just back into the hobby after daughter begged for saltwater tank for 4 months
Tank setup June 2012.
Equipment: 29 gallon hex, canister filter, 2 powerheads (one pointing to glass and one near the sand pointing to top of tank for circulation, too much live rock.
Stocking: Two clowns, twin spot goby, fire shrimp, 2 chocolate chip starfish, 3 snails, 3 red legged hermit crabs.
FYI - I have a 250 gallon DYI fishtank in my basement (empty for 10 years) that is just waiting for the right time to emerge.
