Has anyone used The Water Cleanser by Marine Easy Clean? If you have does it work?

Has anyone used this filter? I planned on getting 2 for a 90 gallon FW Discus tank to put 400ml of purigen between the 2 filters, Plus the surface skimmer and UV Sterilizer would be an added bonus.

All 6 discus got sick. It was a bacterial infection, treated with melafix and all are doing very well now. Even better than before as they now are very active and not hiding all day.
