I have wanted and Open Brain BUT I have read that they do not do well if you have Hermit carbs. It said that the hermit cards can kill an open brain. For the people that have Open brains, what type of clean up crews do you have if you can not have hermint crabs with an Open Brain??

I had these lights on my 55 Gal and I had it set up that the Dual Antinic's came on at 2 pm and the Dual Daylight's came on at 3pm. Then the Dual Daylight's would go off at 1 Am and Dual Antinic's would go off at 2 AM. The moon lights I left on all the time. HTH

I have a sponge growing out from one of my rocks. It is growing toward my Galaxia. Can I just cut the sponge back or will it damage it?

I crush my own garlic pods to soak the food in. Is it ok for excess garlic juice to go into the tank? I soak the Formula one pellets in the garlic juice then just pour the whole mixture into the tank.

You need to let the salt mix with a PH in the bucket for 24 -48 hours. It should be clear by that time.

I have Satellite Duals with Dual Actinic (420nm/460nm) and Dual Daylight (6,700K/10,000K) bulbs which is 4x65 watts on a 50 gal tank. I was hoping this would be enouh.
