I have recently seen a coffee table tank on CL. It looks like a big glass square, with a slightly larger glass top. My questions are how would one filter such a tank, and how would you light it?

How do people keep the Koi/goldfish in ponds outdoors? Are there special heaters/coolers made for them? This is what I wanted to keep with a viewing window from the basement. No actual access from the basement just a window that wouls be flush with the interior wall.

How can you tell if it is aquarium safe silicone? I saw this post and was struck with the idea to make hollow pillars a few inches tall to fill with gravel and plant my swords in them. And possibly a waterfall above the tank.

Just glanced into my tank and noticed new fry! Managed to pull out at least 15 and get them into my 'grow box'. I may need to start selling some mollies! I now have 15+ molly fry, 5 just barely older fry 2 juvis and 12 adults EDIT Just found more! now over 20!

Just did this today to my 40G quarter round. Wow what a difference it makes. I now plan on getting some acrylic paint and painting it black just because there are some wrinkles in the bag. The fish really pop off the background now

Understandable. Im sure some people would disagree with me keeping everything in a 40 but my water levels are perfect and I have over 200 gph of filtration on my tank.

My danios seem fine but the little ol cory seems lonely heh. He does hang with the GBR alot, and my molly fry at times though.
