CORAL magazine is a bimonthly magazine i liked but i let it lapse..warning:if u dont like scientific speak might not like..articles,etc are good though..marine habitat is another..i have mine on apple bookstand...
The traps do work(ive had to use) yeah shouldnt have used hand to catch them..spines are ccium and break off easy(as u found out) do get a set of tweezers/forceps from lfs....
I'm using the kick ich now in my moms 20 reef.. Ive also used before..only side effect ive seen is some of the corals get po'd.... Other than that.. Heard some say its junk but if it works..who cares...;)
I have an eheim pump for sale.. New in box with all instructions..never been used..can be a replacement pump on biocubes aqueon and jbj cubes( im using on an aqueon 8) has adjustment so can strengthen or decrease flow.. Am willing to ship usps..asking $30
Calebsanders..thats not a green moray eel i think instead you have a wolf eel( i think thats what its called) a green moray is a gymnothorax member
of the moray family and can get quite large.. Your eel appears to have a pattern where a a green moray doesnt..google wolf eel and you should get a...

Also..there is no such thing as having too many reference books.... It pays to have books to go to..i have several on fish coral and i picked one up at a used bookstore on nems last week...
Ive had the 6 line for 2yrs..no problems at all with nastiness..blennys a good guy too..no squabbbling key is to make sur you have plenty of hiding places for them... Thats what usually starts the "case of the meanies" as my bro call it...
Oh water changes..i usually do 1.5 -2 gallon change every week...i dont use a skimmer...also use lots of live rock but make sure to leave room for swimming..
In my 10gal i have only a 6 line wrasse and a small midas..nothing else..falco hawks have a min tank size of i believe 30 gal.. And he would eat any crabs/shrimp in your cuc.... I would go with maybe the blenny or a couple of the smaller gobies...look at liveaquaria.com and then the heading nano...
