    MACNA XVIII Houston Tx 2006

    If there are enogh AA folks coming who are interested, I can put together a special outing. We have some great attractions near the conference hotel. We could take a trip to The Downtown Aquarium Restaurant or even take in a ball game - the Astros are playing the St. Louis that weekend.

    ro/di initial investment for beginner?

    I bought my water at Wal-mart for the longest time and that worked OK. However, life became much easier once I got my RO/DI. If you have the space, it's worth the minor expense.

    33g reef tank pic. Home made rock after 8 months.

    Do a search for "agrocrete." It's basically a way to make porous manmade rocks with concrete. Over time, it will become "live" with bacteria. It has its pros and cons.

    Who else keeps nano tanks?

    I love seeing pictures of the small tanks. They are so deceptive. You think you are looking at a large tank and then read it's a nano or pico. :lol: If the scale is right, and the photo quality is good, you cant tell the size of the tank without being told.
