    Pics needing ID - Black mounds? & Red algae(coralline?)

    Thanks for the info on the red algea! The black objects seem firm to the touch and don't appear to be mobile. It was suggested in another forum that they could be sponges. Can anyone confirm this - if so does anyone know the kind? They're pretty small (a little less than the size of a dime)...

    Hi there! We setup a new 46G tank with LR a couple of weeks ago and are still in the process of curing the rock. The past few days we have started to see feather dusters and a few other worms but also started to see black mound like objects appearing all over our rocks and a patch of bright...
