the magfloat i have is big so maybe i will try to find a smaller one to get into the hard to reach areas, BTW.... I love your lil quote thing. I am going to tell my husband that one.... lol

Yeah i get what I can get too with my scraper and mag float, there are some hard to reach areas in my tank tho and places behind some of my rock, I guess it really doesnt matter that much but I know it is there and I want to clean it.....lol. My algea eater in my fresh water tank has spoiled me...

Hey Guys (and Gals) I am looking for advice on what the best snail would be for keeping the glass clean..... The only kind I have now are nerite and cerith and they are not doing anything to help with the glass. My tank finally got through the nasty diatom stage wih help from the ceriths =)...

I just made an order for some more of those snails, I love the few that I have now. I am trying to find someone that will take this star fish that has an older tank that may can feed him but it may be too late for him. As of this morning he was still sifting around in the sand..... so IDK...

Well his leg come off now and now he is back down in the sand, guess I will wait and see what happens. Thanks for the help. Maybe he has eaten all he has to eat and starving.... It makes me feel really crappy for even getting him and listening to others opinions about what to do for your sand...

When I target feed my corals I put some mysis or brine shrimp in the sand and he usually finds it, so I dont think he is starving.... but I could be wrong. I dont have him in my newer 55 either, he is in my well established 30 gal for now...... Should I just take him out or watch for the leg to...

My sand sifting starfish has a broken leg. He is cruising across the sand dragging it and it is upside down like it is twisted. What should I do with him? This may not be a big deal but I cant find any info on this type of situation..... please help me.... I feel so bad for him =(

Okay, I have had my 55 up and running for a couple weeks now. I used new sand and some dry rock, adding live rock from my established tank little by little...... (dont want to take too much from my fish and shrimp I have) and a couple cups of sand from the established tank. I had been testing...
