    UPDATE: : 27 Days Nitrite 0.25 down from over 5.0 24 hrs ago Yippie :thumb: Assuming 0.0 tomorrow big water change and fish! Plants! :D for tank 1 tank 2 probably a few days behind it.

    Why the RODI? Crappy hard as rock source water :banghead: and desire to automate top off and water changes without having to worry about chloramines etc. :dance: Overall better for potentially having options on breeding.

    Quick update... Both tanks are processing daily dosing of ammonia now. Waiting for nitrites to drop. Both tanks have been processing some nitrite into nitrates (fair amount actually) but not clearing the nitrites out to safe levels daily, still off the charts (API test kit). Would be...
