I have been reading about those who claim to have good results on mixing cement and aragonite gavel and creating your own rock? Is it good for a new tank, and established tank, or stay away from doing this? What is your take on making your own and stories from trying it?

Oh, I also do all water changes with RO to keep phosphates down. PH 8.2 ish. SA 1.024 or so.
