- I have a 30gal Tall tank. I have an Aquaclear power filter that is rated for a 50gal tank. I have a 100 watt Aqueon heater, a small air pump to supply a 12" air stone in the back of my tank. I am using some silca sand as my substrate with some misc. fake plants and a few fake lava rocks.
