I started using the quick ich , I used copper safe for about a week it wasn't working I thought my poor loaches were going to die since it was more survier yesterday was the last treatment , so I'm going to wait a day and do a w/c and repeat the treatment to make sure I got it all.

Hey guys I need some advice , I have been treating my 60 gallon community tank for ich , and two of my angels have laid eggs will they survive or do I need to take them out ? they laid sometime last night , they are guarding their egg and won't let other fish near them this is their first time...

ok I goggled It and from the picks I saw I don't think that's it. it has more of a slimy look to it . I think maybe hair algae theirs also diatoms in the tank .

I didn't smell it lol.. I cleaned the tank and removed what I could I had to remove some of the moss it was growing on . those pics. I have posted it grows like that in one weeks time.

lights are on anywhere to 8 or 9 hours per day and it feels kind of rough not like slimy :confused:

That's true I'm not sure what I will use I have to travel an hour to find a shop that sells it and it's so expensive and I haven't purchased my tank yet gonna get that this week end a 75 or 90 gal maby I'll do rock of some kind just want to get it set up so I can start the fishless cycle

I would think bleach would soak into to wood making it harmful to fish !! When we moved here the garden was not maintained looked like it hadn't been for years there were no plants and it used a rock garden So I think I'm going to boil it a couple of times and soak it for a week or so What do...
