If they are starting to look better like you said in the first post then i would just keep doing what you're doing. My guess to why they are dieing is stress from the tempature change. Theres a pretty big change from outside to inside.

I used to have a few panda cories in with a few dwarf gouramis in a 20g and they all did fine. so i dont think you should have a problem.

Hey Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm 17 with no tanks currently. I used to have a bunch but i have been pretty busy lately and havent had time for fish so i just got rid of them. I hope my life will ease up some and i will be able to get more tanks soon.

I agree. another female for that small of a tank is out of the question.
