- 55 gallon fresh water Planted tank two 60gph filters 2 four foot plant fluorescent bulbs tank is going on 12 years old. Fish include fancy guppies and ghost shrimp. I haven't bought any fish in the last ten years accept some ghost shrimp. Guppies breed like crazy. Tank usually has around 30 to 50 adult guppies in it. I always keep 12 ghost shrimp in the tank.
