The worst crash is the ones you don't have answers for. Hopefully you will be able to find the reason so it doesn't happen again.

    Sailfin Tang versus Yellow Tang

My yellow is the biggest bully in my tank. She thinks she runs the place. Very annoying. She doesn't mess with my blue tang but they were added at the same time. I would love to add another one possibly a naso tang but know theres no way without somebody being injured or killed.

I run both main bulbs from 12:30pm-7:15pm and I have all 5 slots of LEDS filled with blue and those are on from 7:15pm - 11:15pm. All my corals seem very happy.

Anybody mixing Reef Crystals and Instant Ocean

I have been using Reef Crystals in both of my tanks however my 90 gallon is a FOWLR and wander if its necessary to spend the extra money on reef crystals or if I could mix RC with Instant Ocean. I've been using RC exclusively for about 9 months but was at a store today that was selling instant...

Opinions on best salt mix to use!!!!

I've been using Reef Crystals for awhile now and really like it. I don't have to dose nearly as much. I was adding a bunch of Calcium before and now, water changes take care of it.

Is this enough light for most corals?

We have a 90 gallon saltwater aquarium that measures 48" long, 24" high and 18" deep. We have the Current USA Orbit Marine LED in 48". My wife and I are wandering if this LED light is strong enough for corals or if it should be a fish only tank. We currently have a few mushrooms and zoas but are...

    adding fish, whats the timeframe

I added 4 a week ago today and one was dead this morning. I have heard that these guys need to be in odd numbers. I did notice that two of them had little marks on them maybe where they brushed up against a rock or something. I wander if a big fight went down last night? It was the littlest one...

    Uv Sterilizers ?

in this hobby, I find that if somebody tries something different or new, (it may or may not work), however if it didn't negatively affect the aquarium, they leave it on. I would say UV sterilizers are one of those. We just keep adding things to the tanks all the time :) part of the hobby I...
