You are absolutely right my friend. They are indeed Trigonostigma Somphongsi. I'm really enjoying keeping these fish at the moment so much so that I'm breeding them.

They are between 2-3cm. Not penguin tetra

I currently have 11 of these in my tank. They are fascinating fish to watch and even more so when they are spawning.

A quick update for you having taken everyone's advice, I've added an venturi air diffuser to my juwel internal filter which is creating more surface agitation and also firing tiny bubbles into the water. Fish seem a lot happier and acting normal. My water parameters are Ph - 7.5 Ammonia - 0ppm...
