    What's Better? Bio Wheel or Trickle Filter with Bio-Balls?

    Just a thought, I have lots of blackouts in the summer where I am and a biowheel has the potential to dry out. I've got an emperor but I toss so floss in the extra media basket to build up the yummy bacteria.

    BioSafe

    Haha, I've got Bio Safe to and boy does it stink. It has some sort of sulfur compound as an ingredient and I think that's what we smell (rotten eggs). I keep it in two plastic bags and then a ziplock and haven't looked back since. The stuff seems to work though and I think the smell is normal.
