What has you worried about the plants, other than being fake? I think it looks great, it reminds me of up north all that cold looking snow. Have you thought about maybe crafting a Christmas tree with a live moss or plant? I'm still learning about plants so please excuse my lack of names...

My cat Squeaky gets extremely jealous anytime I look at any of my tanks. He launches himself off the floor to my shoulders to get my attention. I've also caught him on top of my tanks drinking the water as it comes out of the HoB filter, is that even ok for him. All I use is Prime for water...
