Today I don't a coral rx dip on my zoas? Cause I felt some were dying for no good reason. Afterwards I found a lot of pest in the water. How do I figure out of they were good or bad. They look look copepods or amphipods. And one liked like a tiny tiny red star fish.

Is calcium dropping to around 380 too low? Or would that be ok?

Also I have ai hydra light. Surely these have enough power thanks.

Ok so the only thin that drops rapidly in my tank is the alk. Other than that everything else will last the week for my water change. So should I be ok with growth. I use Red Sea pro salt.

Heyvjust looking to change from softies lps to sps lps. But whats the things I need for success. ie carbon bio pellets. Zeo? Whats needed thanks.

I get phos and mag tested in my local fish shop. And my mag is always at 1250-1300 never below. Don't know why. And only recently my calcium had dropped to 380. I have never seen that drop ever. And potassium never changes ever.

Redsea reef pro. And it drops from 12 to 7 within a week. It's crazy.

But are nutrient not other things than just nitrates and phosphates? Could it not be a high level of zooplankton or phytoplankton in the water or high levels of other bacteria?

I change about ten per cent a week water on top of the alk dosing. But that's about it really. Nothing too dramatic.
