    I want Coralline algea

I have a fish only tank with dry rock that is developing green and purple (coralline?) algae. How does one treat algae in a fish only as opposed to FOWLR tank? Is algae a bad thing or does it have some beneficial qualities even without live rock?

    Ceramic decorations in saltwater tank

Is it a problem to put ceramics in a fish only saltwater tank? Does it matter if they are glazed or unglazed? Instead of using fake resin coral or rock forms I thought I would make my own fake ceramic ones.
