    SumthingsFishy's 50g Tall Planted Journey

You are correct sir, I should note that I have two guorami in my 20g i am looking to give away to a good home. looking to have mostly neons and zebras. I am thinking of creating a thread for my 20g if anybody including yourself would be interested.

    SumthingsFishy's 50g Tall Planted Journey

Not sure if anyone is still following this- after months away from aa forums, I am sorry to say I have taken down this tank. I still have my 20 gallon which is home to neons, zebras, ghost shrimp and a albino pleco. My 40/45 gallon is for sale if anybody is interested. Including...

I have also given any plants and rocks from both of my tanks a soak in some hydrogen peroxide to try and kill off the BBA. It was way easier on the rocks since i was able to scrub them with a sponge. Hopefully over time the BBA will die off. I plan on purchasing some Flourish Excel soon to aid...

You're right they will show aggression when spawning but thats something that comes with every fish when they spawn. It is their natural instinct to protect their young and the mother. So long as you provide ample hiding places and keep your water quality at its best it should be nothing out of...

So far I havent had any instances in which I felt that the Rams were being too aggressive towards the Angels or vice versa. (I now have 5 angels and 2 GBRs). To be honest, they never show any interest in each other. In my opinion if they are the two main species you plan on keeping in your...

Kingkoopas eheim 6gl shrimp tank build

Gonna follow this since you're kind enough to help me with my 50g build. I've also been thinking about doing a small 10g shrimp/invert build. Would like to learn some from your experiences :)

I've done some research and found a good handful of instances where people have kept angels successfully with gbrs. So far they haven't shown any interest in harming eachother

So I returned the pleco and used my store credit to buy 4 more angels. I had to purchase them as juveniles because nobody around here has any matured angels. I'm not worried though and I'm sure they will grow just as fast as my other angel. Some other good news is my GBR's began to show mating...

Okay so, Following that discussion does anybody have any reccomendations for a fish I can keep in replacement of the pleco? I'm going to be returning him today. Ideally wouldn't want to keep another bristlenose like I have in my 20g but I am open to the idea.

I understand he could potentially become very large. I will find him a new home if his size becomes a problem. I have a friend with multiple tanks who lives not too far from me who is always more than happy to take fish from me. The local petco also has an extremely exceptional fish keeping...

    Flake Food?

Omega one Pellets and Hikari Freeze Dried bloodworms are the best! I wouldn't use any other blood worms because nobody else guarantees theirs to be parasite free

Thanks for confirming the identity of my pleco. I'm sure I can take care of him if you are right, since I have kept a large common pleco a long time ago. If he does become a problem I will consider giving him to a good home, but for now I'll just go with the flow. He seems to be doing fine now...

    SumthingsFishy's 50g Tall Planted Journey

I said I appreciate the criticism while in your first post you only stated facts without explaining why. I appreciate your input, and I will remove the anubias. The pleco might not be a common but if it is then I will take note of what you said. I only called it a common because it was just any...

I would like to know where you see the anubias being covered in black beard algae. There isn't any. And I haven't had any problems with the pleco so far, he keeps to himself most of the time. Is there any other problems you have with my tank that I should know about? I appreciate the criticism...
