i hope so..i noticed the other day my live rock is starting to get purple blotches and is turning white. from reading other posts i think the purple blotches are a type of algae and he white on the rocks is just die off.

when you added your salt..did you stir it up? or just dump it in?

ok that makes sense.. so basically i need the liverock so i can start the cycle, and baserock is mainly decortive but has potential to become live rock. and i want to introduce everything all at once when i set it up correct?
