2 female betas, 1 guppy, 3 neon tetras now (2 died ), 1 mickey mouse fish. 20 gal tank.

My guppy is chasing my tetras around the tank. Two have come up dead with a missing eye. I thought Guppies are peaceful. Why is he doing this? The store thought it had to do with the bright color or that he wants to mate but I am not to sure by the way he chases them. Should I get rid of him?

Is the tank too warm? Feeding them right? What is the water tester called? I mean they cover the fish if they die under 2 weeks but I don't like to see that happen.

We just bought a brand new 20 gallon tank. We washed all the gravel and fake items. run the tank with the water conditioner for 5 days prior to getting the fish. We got 6 fish because they stated to get them in shifts. I have a heater in there and it is seat at 78 but the tank is reading...
