    Stocking a 120

I'm getting a 4ft 120 gallon tank. How should I stock it? I'd like to have some larger cichlids. Already have a peacock tank, and already have a flowerhorn.

It has 2 Banks to run two bulbs each.

Macro Micro Nutrient Mix (equal parts Plantex CSM + boron, Potassium Nitrate, Potassium Sulfate, Magnesium Sulfate) Does this sound good? That pH drop sounds just about right. I'm getting a 1.0 drop. My anacharis looks like it's dying out. I've only had it in for a few days but it's not looking...

Does that light sound sufficient over the tank for mid light?

Best dry ferts in your opinion? Just want something that is simple and has it all.

What is the best all in one fertilizer to use? I just got this tank running with pressurized c02 and med-high light? (T5 ho 4x54 6500k) I placed some root tabs around the anacharis I planted and some around the small crypts. What else should I do?

    75 gallon stock

I'm leaning towards the first combo. I think that would look great.

    75 gallon stock

Ok so I'm thinking 2 severums, a salvini, and maybe a firemouth. And maybe a school of congo tetras or giant danios. Would this work?

    75 gallon stock

Ok awesome, so a salvini will work with severums, could I also get away with stocking some geos or would that not work?

    75 gallon stock

Yeah I know Africans won't co exist with sa and ca. I really like the red shoulder sevs. Would a group of them work?

    Sump question

This tank has the overflow box, and two holes drilled in behind it in the left back corner. That's why I'm a bit confused on how it would be a return right beside a inlet.

    75 gallon stock

Hey guys getting a 75 gallon up and running this weekend. It's is a basic 75 with a 39 inch sump on it. Was used as saltwater but I want to go the cichlid route. What would be the best fish to stock? I'm not against Africans in it, but I'm also leaning to something like an Oscar, green Texas...

    Sump question

Yes I will when I get back home this weekend. See I thought the 90 degree one is the intake and the other maybe a emergency intake? Water wouldn't go it the taller one unless the 90 was blocked. Can I just bypass it by using a valve pvc to plug it?

    Sump question

I bought a used tank that was broken down. The tank has 2 holes, presumably for intakes. One is a 90 degree elbow with a hole in the top. The other is just a straight pipe that's a bit taller. I'm gonna return with a pump and some pipe. I'm just a bit confused why there would be 2 intakes. Thanks!
