    Super nanotank!

I came across this link when I was on Facebook and thought you guys would enjoy reading: World's smallest aquarium holds just two teaspoons of water - Telegraph Not sure much extra info on it, but its shocked me!

    Dropsy

Thank you. That's what I've read, that once they pine-cone, it's time to put them down...

    Dropsy

My favorite fish, Marly (my avatar pic), has gotten dropsy. I'm not sure the exact date. I was gone up to my cousins on Monday to Wednesday and at some point he developed it. At first, he looked like he was very bloated, but its definitely dropsy now. No one was watching him, since it was only...

    Atlanta Fish Shop

Have you ever been to Einstein's Aquatics? I've heard a lot of people talking about that place being good, but mostly salt.

    Angelfish abd Betta together?

How big is your tank, exactly? Size of tanks are a huge issue. Every fish requires a particular amount of room to move around and be able to live a proper life. Display tanks at stores, or even holding tanks where you buy fish out of, are nothing to go off of. They are trying to make money...

    Missing Monster?!?!

Maybe you should check other rooms? It's amazing how far a fish can jump and then flop around. I had a two inch spiketail gourami that made it almost to my front door, which was a good ten feet or more.

    Betta

Agreed. They tend to easily find entertainment for themselves. Get him some plants or a cute tank ornament for him to play in. Those are the best tankmates.

    Bad betta

Does he like that suction cup leaf? I got one for free awhile back and stuck it in with my Marly. He's obsessed and if I ever take it out, he goes into full depression mode. I guess its a fish version of a teddy bear or pacifier. haha

    Neat LED Lights

I picked up these LED submersible light balls a few months ago since I had a coupon and had nothing else to get (compulsive buyer, right here). They are meant for wedding floral arrangements and such, but they work for aqaurium use too. I'm not 100% comfortable about putting them inside of the...

    Aquraium turtle or lizard?

Well, I'm not sure of any smaller lizards who especially love the water, but Asian water monitors love water. haha. You would need a pool though. Or an alligator or crocodile. Not sure how much of a wild side you have! There are lots of salamander species out there you could look into. The ones...

    Bad Fish Advice

I asked my boyfriend about this and he said that under extreme conditions, some African cichlids can. I looked it up and it apparently takes a lot of energy and such and is super rare. So... I guess Petsmart guy is only partially right and that's if he was talking about the right African cichlid.

    Bad Fish Advice

Well, in their defense, some of my tanks I do have to "replace" the pads every month. For whatever reason, more debris or higher tannic acid levels or whatever, I have some tanks that I have to put a new one in pretty often. But, I buy the giant sheets of filter floss and cut them out and I...

    Diy Rock Project

I wouldn't think silicon or GS foam would be a good idea. Depending on how good of a pull the foam would have to try to float, the seal could break. I would go on the same side and do the concrete. And from what I have seen with my crested gecko cage, this GS foam isn't that strong. My crestie...

    Crayfish and betta

A wild-caught crayfish? I would be concerned about disease or parasites. And do you know the species? It could possibly be able to harm your betta or your betta might attack him.

I have made a mess trying to paint back Using acrylic paint & roller

I've never painted the back of a tank, so I wouldn't know specifics. But, I have done paintings on old windows, so that's how I know about the unevenness. I would imagine the longest roller you could find, a good deal of pressure, and lots of time.
