Not thinner. They are hanging around the bottom no really moving and lost a lot of colour. Just going to leave them out and let nature take its course. Don't want to stress them out in the box an if they do give birth I'll see how many I can save and just put them in the box

Just noticed a clear almost jelly looking thing hanging from one of the platys. Is this a possibility of birth coming soon? Before it fully came out the male nipped at it and it was gone. Should I move this one to a birthing box?

Yeah won't be going to the states until next month. Big als here in Canada has about 20 or so large and small tanks full. Might check online though might be able someone that grows them for cheaper than the store

Just looked at the pet smart site and their fish are considerably cheaper than big als. I'll be going there from now on. What are some plants you recommend?

They can get anything you ask for. It's a big als. If its not in stock they'll order it

Just looked up the Australian rainbows you have. Great color and they shimmer nicely in the light
