    Anyone use MH bulbs on eBay? Price too good to be true?

    I have purchased the 175 watt SE type bulbs from trustdeals and they are awesome. Have not had any problems. I wish they were around when I had to pay the $70 a bulb. Everyone has their own opinion, but for the money, these are great to me.

    You can trim, trim, trim.... Just like you prune bushes and plants.... Then you can either attach the excess to little pieces of rock and give them away or sell them, whichever... You can also throw away the excess and just be done with it. Pruning is needed with Xenia and it will also grow...

    If you store it, make sure it is in a somewhat sterile container and preferably light resistant. You should be able to keep it for a few weeks to a month. Just make sure nothing comes in contact with the water such as oganic matter that would change the composition.

    Feeding Anemone

    I agree with lando. A sebae anemone gets its nutrients from light and requires no direct feeding. I only give my anemones a treat maybe once a month or so.

    The button polyps are palythoa. A very common hitchhiker and if the parameters are right, they will spread quickly. The hairy mushroom is cool. what am I saying, this hobby is cool.... Isn't it nice to get new things popping up out of nowhere? Cheers
