You will find that most of the cheap LED fixture skimp on the components inside. Some may be made with CREE but if they are not made with high quality waterproof drivers, sealed circiutry and/or gasketing you will not see the investment you made come out.

I don't recommend the fogging at all with your tank in there.... We are having a hard time of it this year here in Indiana too..... Been using the walmart brand Pet Armor and have an aerosol can for the carpets and especially where the dog sleeps and bath once per week.

Clean the glass with one of the magnet scrapers and look at your lighting. If you can make sure that it is slightly angled so it doesn't hit the front glass. After all, no reason to light the front glass. You aren't growing anything there...except algae.....hahahahaha

I am an avid fan of the LED lighting for both FW and Reef tanks. The look, the temps and the electrical savings are all pluses in my book. I have been very happy with the LEDs that I have over my reef and the growth has been as good or better than before.
