looks like an anemome. from pics i have seen, could be a small magnificent anemome. in your pics it looks like the colors are purple and blue. did i come on some LR or u buy it at a LFS?

good call. got a call from the wife this morning. shed his skeleton and looks great again!! my emerald crab is almost 6 months in my tank and pretty big and hearty. still has never shed his skeleton. looks crusty, my shrimp seem to shed every other week!

thanks for tips. i hope a molt is all it is. looks more like a dark slime covering the top of his body. hope it goes away, he looked very cool.

my white anemone crab was textbook white with spots. now he is turning brown. i assume algae growing all over? anyone have any ideas? im over my quota for pics so it wont let me post any. sorry.

yes, thats what ive been told but have a deal with lfs to return for refund when done for someone else so it doesnt die. kinda lile a recycled nudi.
