    Such contaminants are common amongst aquacultured blackworms. On another note, many leeches are detrivores or micro-predators (as of worms and small snails) - and do not consume blood.

    In truth, Aegla (which have no common name in English) are not crabs. They belong to the infraorder Anomura and are thus more closely related to squat "lobsters", porcelain "crabs", mole "crabs", hermit "crabs", and king "crabs" than true Brachyura.

    For what it counts, I am positive. Mosquito larvae are tubular "snorkel"-respirators which float about the water's surface - and do not possess recognizable limbs.

    The Otorongo shrimp might attempt to consume your fish. Be sure any C. fluminea you obtain receive adequate current and water column-suspended foods. Feel free to propose alternative combinations.

    As far as I know, their import is highly restricted, if not banned altogether. Don't despair: Australia possesses a wide range of native species which are, in my opinion, considerably nicer.
